"Citroën has revealed further details of its line-up for the British International Motor Show.
Two concept cars from the marque's top British designers will be making an appearance, while the Company will also be unveiling two new special editions.
Leighanne Earley is the lead designer of the futuristic C-Buggy, while Mark Lloyd, who is the Manager of Citroën's Design Team in Paris, has been responsible for a whole series of acclaimed and award-winning concept cars including the C-Airplay, which will also be on display in London"

Production delays for C6

"French car brand Citroen has some start-up problems with its top-range C6 model, launched in May as the spiritual successor to the historic DS car, but hopes to overcome them soon, the brand's director said on Thursday.
Claude Satinet, head of Citroen which is one of the two brands of the PSA Peugeot Citroen company, said the Rennes factory in west France was making 40 to 50 of the cars per day against a planned 100 vehicles...Citroen has so far sold 3 000 C6 cars"

Autoexpress claim to have exclusive inside information on the new Citroen C2 Plus a supermini-mpv aimed to rival the Ford B-MAX, Vauxhall Meriva and Nissan Note. The new C2 plus is also set to use the new BMW/PSA 1.6 petrol engine and is expected to be in showrooms the end of 2007 with prices from around £9500.

Another target is PSA Peugeot Citroen, in tandem with which AvtoVAZ is willing to design a new platform for C cars and start producing components. But it won’t be easy to lure PSA Peugeot Citroen, as the latter views AvtoVAZ just as a partner for industrial assembly of its cars in Russia."
